A set of ads developed for The Indie List in response to an article featured in the Irish Times.
The article suggested that the advertising industry could help fill the gap left by the government, and find compelling ways to communicate to the public why face masks are necessary.

The Indie List is a newly formed organisation which promotes the Irish freelance community and connects them with potential clients.

These spec ads were published in a subsequent feature in the Irish Times, alongside several others developed by fellow freelancers. Have a look at the full set here.

The concepts were borne out of the idea that whatever objections you might have to wearing a mask, the severity of the potential consequences of Covid-19 make it a no-brainer.
